The organizing committee anticipates an exciting and fruitful scientific meeting where the most recent developments in biochemistry and genetics and their relation to medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, agronomy and environment will be presented. Beside the lectures, also both annual general assemblies of the Slovenian Biochemical Society, Slovenian Genetic Society and Slovenian Society for Human Genetics will take place.
Furthermore, the awardees of the Lapanje award, which is conferred annually by the Slovenian Biochemical Society, will present their work with short oral presentations.
The meeting will be a special challenge for young researchers from the field of genetics who are invited to apply for the competition for the Golden Chromosome Award.
