Registration guidelines

All participants are requested to register online and are also invited to present their work. Presentations include either a lecture or a poster.

Abstracts of lectures and posters will be published in a book of abstracts.

Abstract submission guidelines

Abstracts must be submitted together with your online registration. Submitting more than one abstract is acceptable. Before submission, please have the following information prepared:

  1. title
  2. authors and their institutions (institution's name, city and country)
  3. presenting author
  4. abstract
  5. optional figure and a corresponding legend (limited to one figure per abstract)

You will be able to revise your abstract before completing the registration.

Abstract preparation guidelines

Abstracts must be prepared in English.

Title of your abstract should not exceed 250 characters including spaces and HTML codes. The title is submitted separately of the abstract.

Total length of the abstract should not exceed 3000 characters including spaces and HTML codes. If you include a figure (optional), the abstract should not exceed 1500 characters including spaces and HTML codes. Title, authors' names and affiliations are submitted separately and should not be included in the abstract.

We encourage authors to prepare a structured abstract, e.g.:
Introduction: motivation, related work, aim, etc.
Results: methods, results, interpretation, etc.
Conclusions: discussion, conclusion, further work, etc.
Acknowledgements: We thank Dr. A.B., etc.

References should be ordered in order of their appearance within text. Square brackets should be used for citations (e.g., [1]).

Optionally, one figure may be included, together with a corresponding legend. A figure should be prepared in grayscale and stored in either TIF, PNG, JPG or PDF format. Its dimension should not exceed 15.5 cm in width and 8.0 cm in height. The quality of an image should be at least 600 DPI and file size should not exceed 4 MB.

Figure legend should not exceed 300 characters including spaces and HTML codes. "Figure 1:" will be added in front of the legend automatically. Within abstract, the figure may be referred to as "Figure 1".
